The Tottenham medical room is filling up ahead of Spurs' midday trip to Molineaux on Saturday. Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that three players, including star man James Maddison, are out injured for the game while two squad members return to the fold this weekend.
Maddison, Micky van de Ven and Richarlison will all miss the Wolves game. Maddison and Van de Ven both came off in the first half of Tottenham's 4-1 Premier League defeat to Chelsea on Monday, the former with an ankle issue and the latter with a suspected hamstring injury.
Van de Ven is expected to undergo surgery on his hamstring. Meanwhile, Maddison has since withdrawn from his international duties ahead of England's upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers against Malta and North Macedonia with his injury said to be worse than initially thought.
There is better news on the Richarlison front though with the Brazilian set to be out for weeks rather than months after undergoing groin surgery earlier this week.
Confirming the news at his press conference on Friday, Postecoglou told assembled media: "There's a fair bit happened after Monday night. Micky with a hamstring injury we knew was fairly significant. We're looking at a couple of months into the new year.
Madders is a lot worse than we first thought. He was bad the next day. Again into the New Year with him. Richarlison the operation that we had was kind of scheduled with the international break anyway. With him a month out."

In terms of returns, Pedro Porro is back in training while Ben Davies is fit enough to be available for Saturday. "Ben Davies is back and available. Pedro [Porro] is fine, he's been back in training all week," Postecoglou added.
Davies missed two games after picking up an ankle injury that forced him off against Crystal Palace while Porro picked up a knock in training. Destiny Udogie and Cristian Romero are set to miss the game through suspension.
